Central Essex Interiors was contracted for the ceilings and partitions works to this school in Ealing, West London. The job was done in four phases, the first being a 4-storey new-build school, which housed a new Learning Resource Centre and a new school cafeteria. The second, third and fourth phases of this project were refurbishment works to the existing school buildings which included remedial works to existing partitions and the installation of new partitions and ceilings after a soft strip demolition.

CEI’s work also included the building of the assembly hall raised seating area out of structural SFS steelwork to a Metsec specification.

The main partitions and plasterboard ceilings were built to a Knauf specification. The job also required a large amount of Armstrong accessible demountable ceilings, and a large amount of wall and ceiling mounted acoustic panels, including suspended bays of impact resistant panels to the sports hall.

The total contract value of these works was £800,000. The main contractor for this project was Balfour Beatty.
